Why Silver?

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver, so it contains far less added base metals than something like 9-carat gold, which is less than a third gold. That purity gives sterling silver natural hypoallergenic properties, making it kind to skin and tough by nature.

Because silver has a lower density than gold, it allows us to make chunky, substantial pieces that are solid without compromise. No hollowing, no carving away, no shortcuts to save on metal. This is jewellery that won’t crack, deform or wear away. It’s built to last more than a lifetime.

Silver is made to be worn — properly worn.

Silver can take a knock, a scrape, withstand those last-minute-winner limbs; It won’t come out unscathed, but every ding tells a story. So let it. It’s a mark of that moment, not a flaw, but a memory.

Sterling silver can be worn every day, and it cleans up easily. Yes, it may tarnish over time, but a quick polish will bring it right back. No fuss.

Silver is for everyday.

Silver is for life.

Does Silver Tarnish?

Yes, all silver tarnishes over time. It’s a natural process called oxidation, and it’s hard to avoid completely.

Tarnish forms when silver reacts with moisture, acids in your skin, or chemicals found in lotion, soap, and perfume.

The good news?

Silver that’s worn regularly tarnishes less. Our jewellery is made to be worn, not tucked away, so wear it, love it, and don’t overthink it. And when it does dull or darken, it’s incredibly easy to clean.

If you’re concerned, you can remove your jewellery before:

 • Hitting the gym or swimming

 • Showering or washing dishes

 • Using toiletries or household cleaning products

Just make sure to clean your jewellery before you store it for long periods.

How do I Clean my Silver?

You can buy silver cleaning clothes and polish, but you don’t need expensive kit to clean silver.

We recommend a gentle solution of washing up liquid or baby shampoo in lukewarm water, gently applied using a soft cloth or old toothbrush.

Afterwards, simply dry and buff with a soft cloth.

Remember - wear and tarnish are part of the story.

A scuff from that late push through the turnstile, a mark from a pint glass — these pieces are built to live with you, and live on after you.
